General Leasing Questions

Can additional furniture be brought into the apartment?

You are welcome to bring additional furniture with you, but don’t forget that all of our apartments are fully furnished. You are welcome to move the furniture around to best suit your preferences, however none of the furniture may be removed from the apartment.

Can I pay my bill with a credit card? Is there an extra charge?

Yes! View your balance, submit electronic check, or pay with a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover from any computer or smartphone. Visit reveilleranchapartments.com and click the “Resident Portal” button. There is a 3 – 5 percent convenience fee to make payments with credit card.

How do our rates compare to on-campus housing rates?

When comparing our rates to on-campus rates you must take into consideration many variables, including floor plan layout, square footage, furniture, utilities and community events. Our leasing staff is available to discuss with you how our rates compare to other housing options and validate that our community offers you the best value for your money, as well as a great location and incredible amenities.

Do I have a meal plan?

Meal plans are not offered at Reveille Ranch.

Do you allow pets?

Reveille Ranch is a pet friendly community! Pets are only permitted in the one- and two-bedroom apartments and only one pet is permitted per apartment. Please see a leasing agent for fees and breed/weight restrictions.

How are roommates matched?

Roommates can be matched in a couple different ways – either you tell us who you want to live with, or if you don’t have roommates in mind, we are happy to do the matching for you! We look closely at the information both you and your potential roommates have provided in your application and on your roommate matching card and work to find people that have the same or similar preferences. Although we don’t guarantee a perfect match, you can rest assured that we do our best to find your perfect roommate.

How are rooms assigned?

Rooms are assigned based on availability. During the leasing process, you are able to notate your room and floor preferences. We do our best to assign residents to the room requested, but we cannot guarantee each request can be met.

How close to campus are you?

We are located conveniently near both Texas A&M University and Blinn College. We are on the bus route 15, so you don’t have to buy a parking pass!

How many people live there?

Every year the total number varies just slightly, but we have room for 1,019 residents.

If I am over 21 do I need a guarantor?

A guarantor is not required, but if you do not meet our rental qualifications, you will need to secure a guarantor.

If I pay in full, do I get a discount?

We do not offer a discount for paying in full.

Is parking available?

We have plenty of parking available, including marked spaces for your visitors.

What do I need to hook my computer up to the internet?

You will need a CAT 5 (Ethernet) cable. We have internet outlets in each bedroom, with up to one gig available per bedroom. Your computer must be configured properly for the internet to work. Your computer or device must be registered as an active device with our internet service provider. You will need to purchase a router to access WIFI in your apartment.

What if I need to cancel my lease?

We do not offer lease reassignments, but we do offer releting for a fee that is equal to 85% of the market rate of their lease. You can get more details about releting by contacting the leasing office.

What is the cost?

What size are the beds?

Our beds are full-sized.

What types of leases are available?

We offer 10- and 12-month installment leases. We also offer a limited amount of semester leases, as well as short-term leases. Corporate housing is available, please contact the office for more information.

What utilities are included in my rent?

Our rental package covers expanded cable and high-speed internet. The resident is responsible for electric, water and trash.

When can I move in?

When do I put down a deposit?

Currently this is a case-by-case decision backed by Credit Retriever.

When is my first payment due?

You must submit your 1st instalment before moving in.

Will you send me a bill each month for rent?

We email an invoice each month. Rent is considered late and will accrue charges after the third of each month.

Renewal Questions

What is a "renewal?"

Are you loving it here and can't imagine leaving at the end of your lease? By signing a renewal, you get to extend your stay at your community!

If I renew, will my guarantor have to sign again?

No. Your guarantor doesn't have to do anything extra!

If I renew, do I have to move out and then move back in?

When you renew and choose to stay in your current spot, no moving is required!

I just moved in, is it too early to renew?

Renewing now will provide the most benefit to you. By signing early, you will secure your space for next year and take advantage of the best pricing available.

How do I renew?

We know how busy you are, so we have made the process as quick and easy as possible. Renewing is a easy as "1,2,3"! Just following these steps:

1. Open your renewal email from us.
2. Review the terms, and click "Accept"
3. Follow the prompts to sign the new lease agreement.

It's that easy!
